Research Interest

I am currently reading game theory and mechanism design with <a href = "http://esd.sutd.edu.sg/faculty/shrutivandana-sharma/"target="_blank">Prof. Shruti and <a href = "http://esd.sutd.edu.sg/faculty/ying-xu/"target="_blank">Prof. Ying Xu. I was previously reading both computational and theoretical aspects of stochastic systems with <a href = "http://www.ieor.iitb.ac.in/~jayendran/"target="_blank">Prof. Jayendran and <a href = "http://www.ieor.iitb.ac.in/~nh/"target="_blank">Prof. Hemachandra at IEOR, IIT Bombay. <a href = "http://www.ieor.iitb.ac.in/~nh/"target="_blank">Prof. Hemachandra helped me a lot in reading <a href = "http://people.sutd.edu.sg/~manu_kumar/books.html"target="_blank">many books and papers during my doctoral studies. <a href = "http://www.ieor.iitb.ac.in/vkavitha"target="_blank">Prof. Kavitha often helped me in understanding this subject. I like reading <a href = "http://www.optimization-online.org/"target="_blank">optimization as well. I am also interested in the research work of

Dimitris Bertsimas

and I feel above list should expand in coming future. More broadly, I am excited by research at the intersection of computer science, mathematics, statistics, and its applications to scientific discovery.

I personally like reading papers which use ideas from probability and optimization together (few such papers can be seen here, here and here).
